Vintage Scott Standard Tourer slim Motorcycle original fuel petrol tank, from around 1929/30.
I’m sure someone out there will know for sure what year / model it’s from. Just bear in mind that it’s a slim version to the “normal” Scott fuel tanks.
It’s an original steel tank that has been painted at some point and has a few chips with some light dings and a noteworthy one (shown) on the top right edge. It comes with the oil dripper as shown. The tap isn’t fixed to the tank very securely.
This tank is different to the other Scott petrol tanks that I’ve had. It’s narrower and I believe is for the Standard Tourer version, 532cc. I think they used to have white side panels. It still fits my Scott frame but it’s clearly narrower than the “normal” tanks.
Apart from the dings, it seems to be OK. It will need a good clean out.
