1931 Model 9 Sunbeam vintage motorcycle engine crank flywheel with conrod – SOLD

NOW SOLD

Off to Switzerland

1931 Model 9 Sunbeam vintage motorcycle engine crank flywheel with conrod. It might suit other years. I just happened to buy it as part of a 1931 engine kit.

As no-one seems to want to buy the kit. I am now offering the parts for sale separately.

The crank is what it is really. A big lump of metal joined to another one, with decent journals and threads. It also comes with the connecting rod as shown. I bought it on the basis that I was going to get someone to rebuild the entire engine, so I don’t have any history, or expectations.

These are not easy to find.

If you are looking for early saddle tank Model 9 Marston Sunbeam engine parts, I have a bit more than this rocker box. Please check the other adverts for availability, or ask. When I began, I had the following: (They are not included in this sale)

  • Crank cases for 1931 Twin Port Model 9
  • Twin port cylinder head
  • Engine cover plate
  • Inner timing cover
  • Outer timing cover
  • Rocker box with rockers
  • Cylinder barrel
  • Piston with pin
  • Two cams
  • Pair cam followers

The engine kit was bought as an insurance policy as I used to have a 1930 Marston Sunbeam Model 9. It worked, as the bike never needed this spare.

International shipping is available.

Viewing: Please come and check it over before you buy. It is at PE28, near St Ives in Cambridgeshire.

Shipping: I usually ship to most destinations. If you don’t see a price, please ask. Thanks. International shipping available.

Collection: If you don’t want it shipped, I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.

Payment: Good old fashioned money on collection is preferred. I can accept payment through PayPal or by bank transfer as well.

Import Taxes: Please note that IMPORT DUTIES are not something I can control. If you are buying from outside the UK, there is a chance that you will have to pay import taxes. Import taxes vary from country to country. If there are charges to pay, it is the buyer’s responsibility to research the cost and pay the duties. The price that you see on my advert is for the item and not the item plus whatever taxes might be due.
