1960’s UNIT Triumph 500/ 650cc Duplex 58T 4-spring clutch with primary chain & front sprocket.
6T Thunderbird, TR6 Trophy, T120 Bonneville, T100
According to my parts lists, Triumph have done their usual thing and cast an item with one number and given it a slightly different part number. The cast number on the back of the clutch basket is T1470. The part is listed as T1570.
It’s a used clutch set, with 4 springs. The 650, 500 and 350cc bikes had the same duplex basket but and had 3 springs. The pre-unit bikes had 4 springs but weren’t duplex (I believe). So, maybe this is an upgrade for a unit clutch? It comes with the primary chain and the small sprocket. Everything is used, but usable.
