1965 BSA B40 350cc single project with V5C – SOLD

1965 BSA B40 350cc single project with V5C – SOLD

NOW SOLD

1965 BSA B40 350cc single project with V5C registration document.

I have owned this project for a few years. I can’t get too excited about it, so it’s now for sale at a very reasonable price.

Yes, it’s missing a load of parts. There’s a reason for that. I was building a scrambler / trail bike. So, it would have had a new ali petrol tank and a decent padded saddle. Ali mudguards were planned. None of these items are terribly expensive. What it needs is some time.

A friend had the hubs done in a nice matt crackle black. There are bags with new bearings and wheel spindles. There is a normal BSA B40 oil tank and a few small parts. It also comes with the brake plates and a very decent set of forks. I paid a lot of money for the forks. I think they are B44 ones.

I’m not really that bothered if it doesn’t sell but I think the price is very reasonable. Does it run? Of course not!

The best thing to do is to come and see it. If you can’t do that, I can do a video call and talk you through whatever you want to see.  The pictures are a bit rubbish, but the bike is at the back of my barn.

The V5C log book is in my name and I will make the online title transfer when the deal is done.

BSA B40 motorcycle project for sale 1965 scrambler / green lane / trials bike, ready for someone else to take on.

Viewing: Please come and check it over before you buy. It is at PE28, near St Ives in Cambridgeshire.

Collection: If you don’t want it shipped, I have plenty of space. If you can’t collect for a while, it’s not a problem. However, I will need to be paid very soon after the sale. Thanks.

Payment: Good old fashioned money on collection is preferred. I can accept payment through PayPal or by bank transfer as well. I can accept EUROS. Please ask.

Import Taxes: Please note that IMPORT DUTIES are not something I can control. If you are buying from outside the UK, there is a chance that you will have to pay import taxes. Import taxes vary from country to country. If there are charges to pay, it is the buyer’s responsibility to research the cost and pay the duties. The price that you see on my advert is for the item and not the item plus whatever taxes might be due.
