Rudge vintage motorcycle Binks carburettor

Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor

It’s unrestored and not complete. The main components that are missing are the original float chamber cap. Although it does have a cap that fits and is held securely by the clip. I understand that there are a few people occasionally re-producing these Binks carb chamber caps.

This particular carb body does not have any repairs that I can see. One problematic area can be the join between the float chamber and the main body. In this case, the connection is sound and still has the Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor number: 28410

As you can see, the carb is missing some parts. However, it does have the 3 jets in the block, as shown. I also has a float, but no needle, or clip.

The main body has “19” stamped. The same for the small slide.

This Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor is shown on the site for the initial enquirer to consider. If he decides that he doesn’t want it, I will make it generally available and will list a selling price.

If you have a vintage or veteran motorcycle, you will know how difficult it is to find a complete Binks 3-Jet brass carburettor that someone is willing to part with.

Other Binks carburettors

I have a few. They are mostly for mid-late 1920’s AJS and Nortons. If I have any left, they will be listed in the section titled Binks.
