Norton Trials 500T motorcycle engine crank cases with correct engine number
- The number is F3T 34998 and has not been messed around with.
- Bore and Stroke 79 x 100
- Production number on the left front shoulder is DD1
- The cases have matching numbers on the inside of each casing: 867
- And the part numbers are 14702 and 14706.
Norton Motorcycles only produced 875 of the successful all-alloy engined trials 500T models between 1948 and 1953.
So, these original engine cases are one of a very small number made. If you have most of a Norton 500T, then these original cases will be worth the investment.
They are in reasonable condition. Not perfect and shiny, but they will clean and polish up nicely. The cases have matching halves and they are free from any obvious cracks and major damage. They have marks from general use.
Offered at a very sensible price. I have no need for them.
