Norton Motorcycle Laydown G101 pre-featherbed Gearbox believed to be for ES2 Model 18, 7 and 50

This Norton Laydown 4-speed gearbox comes as you see it. Untested but mostly there. The casing number is G101 1636.
I believe gearboxes marked G101 and G102 have mounts that are suitable for n0n-featherbed frame Nortons. So, I think this should suit bikes like the Model 7. Please check for yourself before you go ahead. I am happy to provide dimensions. Even the experts can’t seem to agree on which gearbox (G101, G102, GB8 etc) were actually for. The general consensus appears to be that boxes with the prefix GB8 are for bikes like the featherbed Dominator Twins and the jury is out on the differences between G101 and G102. Generally, they are for non-featherbed bikes. The trick is to measure the width of the mounts. That appears to set the gearboxes apart.
If you need dimensions, let me know. I have quite a few laydown gearboxes and I have all three variants.
I’ve never used it, so assume it will need a good check over. The mounts are usually damaged, but this one is fine. As you can see the “Norton” inspection / adjustment cover is missing.
