Sunbeam flat tank mounted oil regulator sight glass / hand auxiliary oil pump fitment.

Somewhere around 1925, I think the Sunbeam Long stroke was supplied with a Best and Lloyd mechanical pump. So, I would guess this was pre-1925.

I believe this is for a Marston Sunbeam flat tank model. If you know otherwise, I will be pleased to hear from you.

This is an original fitment.I have had it for years and it has sat with all of my other early Sunbeam parts. I don’t have any plans to own a flat tank Sunbeam any more, so the parts are slowly becoming available.

Obviously, It’s missing some parts. They are mostly readily available. The sight glass and suitable washers can be bought from a well-known supplier. The regulator dial etc can usually be found attached to broken standard cylindrical Best and Lloyd sight glasses.

The important part is here and for sale.

If you happen to be sitting on some parts for an early Douglas 2 3/4, please let me know. I am looking for a magneto, a carburettor & manifold and a tank-mounted oil pump in particular.
