Triumph 1927-1930 (ish) original Girder forks, Poss Models TT, N, NSD, CTT.
I say “possibly”, as my early Triumph catalogues are too early for these models.
I think they are possibly for these models. If you are certain that they are not, I’d be happy to hear from you:
- 1927 – Model TT
- 1928 – Model N / N Deluxe
- 1929- Model NSD
- 1930 – Model CTT
These Triumph girder forks are an original set. They come with the top nut, stem, spring, friction dampers, links and handlebar clamps as you see in the images. Girders are usually missing some parts. These appear to be complete. But check the images thoroughly.
Various parts have a Triumph number stamped on them. They are all the same and it is either “9” or “6”. I have shown some of the stamps in the images.
The spindle diameter is 5/8″ and the gap in the fork ends is 1/2″.
Apart from being a little “crusty”, the only thing worth mentioning is the damage where the stem is no longer attached to the bottom link. I have shown it in the images.
If you are looking for an original set of 1920’s Triumph girder forks that run from around 1927, these have nice used patina. Of course, you can restore them, but the patina can’t be re-made.
