Velocette Venom or Viper vintage motorcycle Original steel oil tank good condition.
This tank IS suitable for a 1953-57 swinging arm framed MAC.
It also suits the 1954-56 Venom, Viper and MSS.
The part number is MAS13/2.
It has no built in tank breather system and must be used with a KA6/6 filler cap which has a small breather hole in the top.
No knocks and just a little paint wear. It will need a clean out just in case. However, I have shone a torch down inside and all appears to be nice and clean. This is a sound oil tank. It comes with an original cap.
Please see the images. They show light surface corrosion near the fixing points and the cap could do with a polish.
