Veteran & Vintage Triumph motorcycle fork spring arrangement

You rarely see an original 1911-on Veteran & Vintage Triumph motorcycle fork spring arrangement available for sale.
When you look at the outside of the head clip it has a 1914 stamp. I think the part number is “335”. I believe that Triumph stamped the part with 1914 as a pattern reference to show that it was to be used for Triumph Motorcycles from 1914 onwards. It doesn’t necessarily mean that the part is dated to 1914.
The main single spring arrangement makes the dating a bit clearer. I asked a question about the spring arrangement on the Timing Chest Facebook page, and was fortunate to receive a few replies from people who know more than I do about early Triumphs. So, I am happy to pass their knowledge on.

I am told that the set up here is a single spring arrangement from late 1911 / early 1912. It’s for a Model H.

I am told that many of the early double-spring set up was prone to failure. Triumph remedied this with a single spring arrangement.
HOWEVER….. If you look closely at the nuts and bolts that attach the spring at both ends, it looks like the bolt (at the outer end) has a section that a smaller spring would seat on. If you look at the original but at the other end, there is also room for a spring to seat.

While I believe these parts are for a Triumph Model H, here is a list of models available around the time that this fork spring arrangement was supplied:

Models (Type) available during 1914 were:
A, B, C, D, E, F, G, LW
and for 1915 were:
D, F, H, K, LW
Bottom line, this is an original collection of  fork parts that make up most of a Veteran & Vintage Triumph motorcycle fork spring arrangement, but without the fork blades and maybe a few other parts.

Condition of the Veteran & Vintage Triumph motorcycle fork spring arrangement

Used but all seem to be original. The nickel is still there in places. The spring is intact. The nuts, bolts and threads are all OK. Actually, the thread on the main stem will need a die over it. The threads are very fine and very slightly out of shape in one part.
