Nice set of vintage motorcycle matching cases for the Model 5, 7 or 8 Raleigh, 399cc.
The number stamps are clear and haven’t been altered. The engine number is RT28404, placing it around 1926. Both cases have “R6” clearly stamped. Apart from the obvious repair to the top / front on the primary side, these are very nice.
So, if you have the rest of the parts, or is you think you could do with a spare set of cases, these are priced very sensibly and are a very good insurance policy in case you damage yours.
