Triumph 650cc TR6, Bonneville T120 oil tank.
This is the unit, late type T120 oil tank and it comes with a cap. It’s pretty good inside. It will still need a clean out but tale a look at the picture on the inside showing the filter.
Externally, it’s not perfect. It has a little surface pitting / corrosion in a number of places. I’m sure it will polish up OK but it’s never going to look new unless you have it re-chromed.
Overall, this is a decent oil tank that doesn’t leak. It doesn’t have any nasty dings either.
I have a few Triumph oil tanks that I’ve decided to sell. Please take a look at the others if this doesn’t suit your needs. I have a few pre-unit ones and a few T20 Tiger Cub oil tanks of various designs. (T20B, centre cap and forward cap version that suits the later T20’s)
Other early Triumph parts for sale
Triumph motorcycles are my thing. Every time I buy another vintage Triumph, I always seem to end up buying loads of spares, even though I don’t need them. When I sell the bike, the spares become available. Please take a look at the Triumph spare parts for sale here.
