Triumph Unit construction 350cc 3TA Twenty One oil tank from 1958

  • Slim tank

Used and with marks, but dent free and oily inside. This Triumph 3TA / Twenty One oil tank comes with the oil filter.

I’ve spent a bit of time researching the many differences between these unit construction oil tanks. They certainly changed over time. This one has a single hole in the lower fixing. I believe they started to fit the oil filler in the centre of the tank around 1963. They also changed the lower bracket soon after this 1958 version. This one has one fixing hole. Slightly later ones had two holes. Please check your parts lists or frame fitting before you buy.

It will need to be cleaned out before use. The mounts are good and I can’t see any weld repairs.

Other Triumph oil tanks and parts: I have some. Please view my other items or get in touch.
