The Gloriaphone 1920s hand klaxon horn for vintage motorcycles.
The Gloria phone klaxon was made for autocars and motorcycles some time in the “teens” and was used in the 1920’s and 1930’s. I have attached two images of nicely restored versions of this klaxon to show that the mount is correct and how they might have been painted. This one seems to have been over-painted.
The klaxon mounts to the handlebars with a 1″ mount. You will need some screws to attach the mount to the horn.

This vintage motorcycle horn works very well. It’s loud and has that familiar “ag-oooh-ahh” sound when you push the top of the plunger.
As you can see, the paint is flaking a bit. However, it’s in decent condition overall and works.
There were a few makers of this type of plunger activated klaxon. The Gloriaphone appears to be one of the less-well-known of the makers. This maker was based in the USA. I imagine Indian and Harley Davidson would be the most appropriate vintage motorcycles for this However, as you can see in the images, it looks just as good on a British-made Triumph.
