Triumph Pre Unit Rigid Frame gearbox that is cut for racing – SOLD

NOW SOLD

Triumph Pre Unit Rigid Frame gearbox.

1939 – 1953 (I think). Please have a good look at the images. I’m not aware that they changed during those years. The gearbox has a number that starts with TE and the outer casing has T910.

The box has the selector indicator, the gear cluster and a few other parts. This gearbox belonged to an enthusiastic racer. Presumably he sliced the kick-start area off the gearbox to either save weight, or fit inside a different frame. So, if you want a lightened PU Triumph 650cc or 500 cc rigid frame gearbox for your race bike, then this is the one!

Being sold as a gearbox needing rebuild or really just for the gear cluster and a few other parts, as I haven’t touched it. Turns fine.

International shipping available. Please ask.
